Abstract

Indonesia has thousands of islands, from Sabang to Merauke, which are inhabited by various communities or tribes with their own unique languages ​​and cultures. The wisdom of local Indonesian communities contains many noble national cultural values ​​which remain strong and become their identity as citizens of the community as well as an accumulation of knowledge and knowledge of growth and development policies within community groups. Local wisdom is a broad and comprehensive phenomenon or event. Arts and culture-based learning is based on the recognition of culture as a fundamental and important part of education as the expression and communication of ideas and the development of knowledge. Madihin with its cultural values ​​as a source of learning for arts and culture, the cultural values ​​contained in Madihin art are religious values, towards oneself and educational values ​​which can be integrated as a learning resource. The purpose of this article is to study the internalization of religious behavior in the madihin tradition at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Banjarmasin City. The method used is descriptive to obtain data related to any related discussion studies. With the library research stage or reading, reviewing and analyzing library data that will be obtained with high credibility. The results of this research show that the internalization of the madihin tradition really helps students improve their religious behavior, because in this local tradition there is good advice that narrates rhymes or poetry, so that students are happy with the provision given on madihin art. This internalization of arts and culture learning in the madihin tradition which is carried out at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Banjarmasin really helps students in implementing Islamic attitudes and behavior in accordance with Islamic teachings. This habit has a positive impact on students' religious behavior
