Pendidikan Karakter dalam Perspektif Pendidikan Islam

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to find out the concept of educational character formulated by experts, the scope of Islamic education in detail, and the character of education in terms of the scope of Islamic education. The research was conducted using descriptive analytical method by describing the theories according to experts about the character of education and the scope of Islamic education. Then the author analyzes it to find the similarities between the two. From the research conducted, it is concluded that the emergence of educational character actually reveals more characters that must be owned by every student and at the same time character education strengthens Islamic education. Because in essence character education is the spirit in Islamic education. Islamic education and character education molding students into beings who have better characters or values. Islamic education with its clear and detailed scope does not come out of the instructions of AlQuran and Al-Sunnah so that it goes in the direction of character education, including the formation of good traits in every student. The success of Islamic education does not depend on whether or not one component of education is good or bad but rather one another is interrelated and cannot be separated. So that it reaches what is formulated in the objectives of Islamic education.
