PERAN BIMBINGAN DAN KONSELING DALAM MENINGKATKAN NILAI-NILAI ISLAM PADA PESERTA DIDIK

Guidance and counseling play a vital role in education, particularly in shaping students’ character in alignment with Islamic values. This study aims to analyze the role of guidance and counseling services in enhancing Islamic values among students through a library research method. The data utilized in this research are sourced from relevant literature, such as books, journals, and other documents. The findings indicate that guidance and counseling services significantly contribute to helping students understand, internalize, and practice Islamic values. The strategies implemented include Islamic value-based approaches, such as bil-hikmah, al-mauidzah al-hasanah, and mujadalah billati hiya ahsan, which have proven effective in fostering Islamic character development. However, the implementation of these services faces challenges, including a lack of counselor training, the complexity of students’ needs, and limited resources. Through effective collaboration among counselors, teachers, and parents, these challenges can be addressed to create an educational environment that supports Islamic character development.
