Abstract

The role of Islamic counseling guidance in shaping students with good manners and ethics is crucial in the context of holistic education. Education is not only aimed at developing cognitive aspects but also at building students' character and morality. Islamic counseling guidance offers an approach grounded in religious values to shape students who are not only intelligent but also possess high manners and ethics in social interactions. This article discusses the role of Islamic counseling in creating students with good manners and ethics through various approaches such as spiritual awareness, the development of moral values, and setting role models by counselors and educators. Additionally, the role of Islamic counseling in preventing deviant behavior and raising students' awareness of social ethics will be elaborated. Various strategies for implementing Islamic-based counseling guidance to improve students' character quality will also be discussed. Based on literature reviews from several journals and research, this article demonstrates that Islamic counseling can be an effective means of supporting the formation of a generation that is not only academically successful but also has high moral integrity and ethics.
